CLASS AND STANDARDS

The classification of the elevators manufactures as per International standards and utilisation aims are as follows;

Class-1 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Elevators that are design especially for carrying passengers.

Class-2 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Basically designed to carry passengers, but may also use load.

Class-3 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Basically designed to be used in health facilities.

Class-4 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Elevators designed to carry loads accompanied by passengers.

Class-5 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Elevators designed for lifting small loads with a cab unsuitable to carry passengers as per their dimensions and type.

Class-6 Elevators:_____________________________________________________ Elevators designed for tower buildings with heavy traffic, operating with a speed of 2.5 m\s or more.
