About Us

• 1986 — FOUNDATION. Sanel Electric was founded by Mustafa Nafiz Çavdar and Selçuk Yıldız in 1986 and began operating in electrical contracting.

• 1986 — FIRST MAJOR PROJECT. We successfully completed the lighting works for the ring roads of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.

• 1987 — ENTERING THE ELEVATOR SECTOR. We completed our first elevator installation.

• 1995 — SANEL IN THE ELEVATOR INDUSTRY. As Sanel Electric, we completed major projects for the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge ring roads, Istanbul PTT central buildings, Ereğli Iron-Steel, Medicana Group and Ar-El Schools. We then decided to conclude our electrical contracting activities and continue as Sanel Elevator.
• 1995 — EXPANDING PRODUCTION. While continuing elevator installation and technical services, we began manufacturing elevator cabins and suspension frames.

• 2000 — OUR FIRST FACTORY. We established our first factory. With 7,200 square meters of workspace and a skilled team, we expanded our product range and increased production capacity.

• 2002 — INVESTING IN THE FUTURE. We added electronic elevator products to our manufacturing portfolio.
• 2003 — FIRST EXPORT. We completed our first export shipment.
• 2006 — EXPANDING OUR PORTFOLIO. We added escalators to our product portfolio.

• 2011 — AUTOMATIC DOORS. We began manufacturing automatic elevator doors and door operators.

• 2015 — EXPORT LEADERSHIP. We became Turkey’s export leader in the package elevator category.

• 2016 — DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION. We implemented a fully integrated ERP system across our business and production operations, strengthening digitalization and increasing productivity.

• 2018 — AMONG TURKEY’S LEADING EXPORTERS. We ranked among the top 1,000 exporting companies in Turkey.

2024 – In addition to our production facility in Istanbul, we have increased our capacity with our new production facility in Denizli Çardak OSB, adding an additional 17,500 square meters of production space. With our expert workforce, international representatives, and export capacity to more than 60 countries, we have become a company that produces at an international quality level with ISO 9001/2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications.
